This place was recommended to be by my neighbor who has really great taste. Didn't know that was in the same building as Masa, and Per Se restaurants. The hostess was greeted us with a welcome smile and took us to a nice seat with a window and a great view! The server on the other hand was in a hurry to get out of there and kept rushing us and asking us to hurry. Really strange for a place like this. Food was great, especially the bone in ribeye, the bacon steaks, mashed potatoes, and the crispy hash browns that i never seen prepared like that. The gelato trio was a great end to a delicious meal. Next time I dine will make sure not to grab the latest reservation as nothing I hate more than to be rushed on meal I want savor and enjoy.

I came to dinner with my partner and two friends on a Wednesday night at 7pm. Our friends had highly recommended this place since they have been coming here for many years. This restaurant is located inside the mall at Columbus Circle on the fourth floor, it has very tall ceilings, and a beautiful view of the surrounding areas. The ambiance feels elegant, and timeless-- NYC is full of new trendy places but this had a more imposing and established feeling to it. Service was top notch. The attention we got all throughout the night, and the warmth of the staff were what made this place extra special. We ordered some Prosecco to start and it was deliciously bubbly and refreshing. We heard about the specials for the day before we ordered food. I tried: - Ruby and Golden Beet Salad: this salad was recommended by our friends. My partner and I decided to share it and the staff was nice enough to split it for us beforehand so we did not have to do it ourselves. It came with a bed of fresh spring greens, apple shavings, vibrant golden and purple beets as well as a generous slab of goat cheese. This salad was delicious! The balance of flavors was very nice since it had the earthiness of the beets, the tanginess of the vinaigrette, sweetness from the apples, and the rich creaminess of the goat cheese. This goat cheese reminded me a lot of brie in terms of its texture but with that very nice taste of goat milk. Super good to start off your meal! - Branzino: I ordered this for myself and it was a great pick. I usually do not eat red meat so I opted to get this fish dish. Since this place seems to be known for their steaks mostly, I did not have my hopes up too high. That being said, I was very wrong and this was my favorite dish of the night! It was honestly one of the best branzino dishes I have had in the city. The portion is very generous with a whole fish instead of just a fillet, that was perfectly flaky, and well seasoned. It came over a hearty stew of white beans and zucchini that just made this such a healthy and filling meal. I would definitely come back just for this dish. I highly recommend it. If you have a smaller appetite, this could definitely be split between two people. - Kansas City Black Angus Strip: my partner ordered this and enjoyed it. The meat was very lean and well seasoned. It was perfectly grilled with a nice pink center. Salt levels were perfect for me based on the small bite that I tried. It came with a peppercorn sauce on the side (which I did not try but which also seemed good) as well as with some sautéed greens for ~balance~. Also very generous portion. Could easily be split between two people. - Roasted Brussel Sprouts: we got this as a side to split with the table. These were stellar! They had the perfect consistency that was not hard but also not mushy. The flavor was a little salty but had hints of tangy sweetness from the sun-dried tomatoes. If you are a fan of brussel sprouts, these are pretty good. Order them! - Baked Alaska: for dessert, we got to try their baked alaska which was honestly a work of art. I have never had this dessert but the presentation was stunning to begin with. The lemon ice cream inside was creamy and cool, then this was surrounded by a nice layer of marshmallowy meringue which was sweeter and complemented the tangy ice cream very nicely. The raspberry sauce that was tart and added both, a beautiful color, as well as balance to the whole dish. Overall, I had an incredibly memorable experience here. The ambiance is one of a kind and feels really classy, the food was amazing (no bite was disappointing), most importantly, the service was above and beyond. I think this is the best service I have had in any restaurant in the city so a big shoutout to the staff!! Their kindness was so palpable and felt very genuine. This restaurant is definitely on the pricier side but it is truly a beautiful place to have a special dinner (birthday, graduation, anniversary, engagement) that you want to be memorable. I have no doubt they will make you feel more special than you ever thought possible! Looking forward to coming back again in the future.
